Child Support: Where's My Money?
|
Why I Titled The Play Child Support is a term that encompasses wide spread details about family and life issues. I would often get upset when I didn't see where my money was going. I had no authority to tell my baby's mama how to spend it. Once I understood and learned about other child support components, and concepts relating to the wholeness, wellness in supporting children, I wanted the world to know. I also wanted to know how the world looks and thinks about child support, the multi-cultural differences and likes. After Five years of waiting, finally through my sister-in-law, Lena (a teacher and playwright) we are now in pursuit to spread the "good news" through performing arts, entertainment, and our documentary. I wanted to see a play that addresses some of the real issues of child support. I wanted to know why (when dealing with the "X") is it such a horrible experience for many men. Why do we believe that all of the deadbeat parents are men? What about the deadbeat mothers! I wanted to see a production that will speak to both genders on the experiences of child support. It is my desire that everyone will leave restored, and better equip to deal with one another so we can move forward in raising our children in love. After all, that's what it's all about. Along with God, as our "guiding light," we are pleased to present to you the fruits of our labor and service. Thank you for letting me share this with you.
Love is always sweet in the beginning...
